First off, comparing my ban to D3V's is rediculous. Mine was a chatbox ban that lasted merely a few hours, where as D3V's banning was an extreme situation. My thread "I'm Banned???" was meant to read, "I'm Banned?!?!?" but my keys stick on my keyboard sometimes. It wasn't to contest my banning, merely to point out that I have been here since 2004 and this is my first ban. Was my punishment severe? No. If you owned a store, and a kid stole a candy bar, would you let him get away with it? No. Breaking the rules is breaking the rules. The difference? I got caught with my stolen candy bar. I 100% support my ban. If one person gets away with it, everyone thinks they should get away with it. Then it goes on to, "Well, my crime is only a little different..." Then a stolen candy bar evolves into mass homicide!

No, it isn't CLOSED. If he can't come on Zelaron, then Chruser should pick a new supreme moderator.

Consider Yawgmoth on vacation.
The whole Yawgmoth doesn't deserve his Supreme Moderator position is blown horribly out of proportion. The only objection, that is apparent to me, is that he is an unknown. Anyone in authority, especially online, needs to have the respect of most, if not all, of the people he will be overseeing. !King_Amazon!, Lenny, and Sovereign are in thier positions because they understand the rules as well as what the appropriate punishment should be, not because they all traveled to Sweden to give Chruser the best head of his life! Yawgmoth had/has yet to earn much respect, and has in fact lost some because of his hasty attitude to push change. Many of the members here seem to only be offended that a new person has been given such a high level of authority, and now seem to not even care.
As I stated, respect is needed for authority to have any effect on people you will NEVER come across in your life. I also said earlier, that I completely agree with whatever ban was seen fitting for my rule breaking. A little background, I referee'd for little league soccer before. During the class, the teacher told me, "I don't care if you suddenly realize that you are completely wrong in making a call, stand by it. The parents out there will do everything in their power to make you take back any negative call on their kid, and make every single minor call on the opposition. Backing out on your call only undermines your character." To me, that applies to everything, from referees to police officers. If you stray from your decision, it weakens your character in the eyes of everyone else. And all it takes is very few people to undermine someone's character before that preson's character is viewed in a negative light all the time.
In order for there to be order, followers need to have respect for thier leader, and faith that their leader knows what he is doing. I think everyone of the moderators will agree that
when Yawgmoth comes back, he will be welcomed, and life will continue as though nothing ever happened. All Yawgmoth has to do is allow the 'followers' to build respect for him, and trust.
As I stated (or maybe I didn't?) in my introduction thread, respect is the most important thing in my life. You give respect, you get respect.
