Lenny nailed it in the first sentence. These threads have a subject and people stay on that subject. They're probably more on topic than 95% of the threads on Zelaron. There's no reason to equate them to the WRT, which is where garbage gets dumped and people babble mindlessly.

The WRT was made not to count because there are people who literally have THOUSANDS of posts in there. You can sit there and spam post after post in there all day for all we care. You can't do the same in these other threads.

I agree, this isn't a hard concept to grasp...

A way to value the usefulness of posts (e.g. our current reputation system) appears more viable these days than post count. The big avatar does emphasize activity very well, and some form of a store system would do so even more, but it's still not directly related to post count.
