Well, that is obviously because he makes every man jealous of that scene. Ha!

In the final scene where Leonidas stands and the thousands of arrows come down on him, none of the arrows hit his crotch area.

It is amazing. I highly suggest that everyone go see it before it's out of theaters. I'm sure it's going to be great on DVD but it's MADE for theaters.

My friend went to see it and told me that a kid screamed killtackular after a fight scene. For all of us Halo fans, that means the guy had 4 kills in a row within 20 seconds of each other without dying. I thought it was funny because even in a movie, people scream halo verbal abuse.

There are parts where they are seriously just slaughtering the enemy. It's amazing how awesome the spartans are. The funny thing about your story is that Master Chief is called a spartan if I remember right, and the guys in the movie are spartans.

At one point in the movie this spartan guy goes berserk (not going to tell you why) and he pretty much just goes on a fucking solo killing spree. It's nuts.

You just have to remember not to take the movie literally or as fact. So many reviewers gave the movie bad ratings because it isn't historically acurate or possible or whatever, but it's not supposed to be. It's supposed to be a feast for the eyes and that's exactly what it is. The nudity in the movie is tasteful, the fight scenes and scenery throughout the movie is absolutely beautiful. It's a theater movie if I ever saw one.

Actually, if you read the halo books, the super soldiers that were created were called the spartans. They were named after the 300 greeks that stood thier ground. Its funny to think about and read, but is awesome.

I saw it today at the Imax, and I have to say, apart from coming out feeling a little small, and with a headache starting, what an amazing film!

Who cares about historical correctness?! This is Hollywood damn it! If I want to eat a rosy red apple whilst the injured are being taken care of, then I will damn well do so! I am King, after all.

Anyone notice the way it was actually filmed? All dark colours, with gold -nothing really bright. It kinds gave it a sepia feel.

I think I can also thank you guys for making me notice how no arrows hit him in the head or groin. I liked his crucifiction pose, too!

There's a question... the guy on the white horse who lopped off the Captain's son's head... where did he go? We didn't see the body of the horse on the ground in the scenes that followed, in fact, we didn't see it again at all. What gave?

Movie was fucking amazing.....I love how they have the fight scenes. How they follow just one Spartan killing person after person. I loved the one where they had the two Spartan guys fighting side by side.

Finally saw it last night. I have to say I loved it, though at times the slow mo stuff annoyed me (particularly when it wasn't a fight or battle).
