I saw it today at the Imax, and I have to say, apart from coming out feeling a little small, and with a headache starting, what an amazing film!
Who cares about historical correctness?! This is Hollywood damn it! If I want to eat a rosy red apple whilst the injured are being taken care of, then I will damn well do so! I am King, after all.
Anyone notice the way it was actually filmed? All dark colours, with gold -nothing really bright. It kinds gave it a sepia feel.
I think I can also thank you guys for making me notice how no arrows hit him in the head or groin.

I liked his crucifiction pose, too!
There's a question... the guy on the white horse who lopped off the Captain's son's head... where did he go? We didn't see the body of the horse on the ground in the scenes that followed, in fact, we didn't see it again at all. What gave?
