Since when is plotting something concrete? I've been plotting to fly to Sweden and assassinate Chruser for 193 days now. I don't see me getting banned, or even questioned by authorities though. I always looked at using the "multiple accounts" reason to just get someone banned for a longer time because I didn't like him/her. It's damn cheesey, and fucking Sovereign has one, as well as WW, although WW's is legit and is purely for testing purposes. Hypocrasy I tell you! BURN!

Having multiple active accounts IS doing something wrong on these forums. If this is found out, one of the accounts is banned or the accounts get merged. If you do this while banned, both accounts will be perm banned. Sovereigns alternate account was banned. My alternate account is needed for permissions testing as an admin and is the only exception to these rules. Besides, it's not really "active", if I don't post or PM with it (well I do, but all that gets deleted in short order).

Me get real? Plotting is 100,000,000% legal. If you actually start getting supplies, as in guns, explosives, etc. to start acting out those plots, then it becomes intent. Plotting is nothing but a slap on the wrist. The only possible exception to this would be if you were caught with detailed information on how to execute this on someone like the President, for example.

D3V clearly told someone his plan on AIM, which as much as everyone hates him, he isn't an idiot that wouldn't think it wouldn't somehow get back to these forums.

I think D3V should not be perma-banned, because there have been a shit load of members that made accounts while banned. Grav, Mantra, !K_A!, and kaos stick out, only because they did it at least 5 times each (That whole shit with "NotGrav", "ThisIsn'tMantra", "DefinitelyNot!K_A!", "kaoswho" bullshit that fills up like 50 spots in the permanently banned archives, or at least once did when I had permissions to see it). Yet they are all still around. Coincidence? Not a shot, people are just holding a grudge against a decent member that they never gave a real chance.

I did perm ban Grav. EVERYONE bitched and it was reduced to a few weeks. Weren't you for unbanning him? Mantra was perm banned but eventually unbanned, so who knows maybe d3v will be unbanned as well. (unlikely, but meh).

Never gave a chance my ass. He was perm banned once before by ex-mania. Besides, how many decades would we have to wait for the 'decent member' to come out. He's been here since about when I started posting. He might be causing activity, but he isn't here now and I'd say Zelaron is more than active enough for me. Banning him in no way hurt Zelaron. It might not be fair to him, but who really gives a shit?

This is why the fucking database is saved every week. "PUH LEASE", don't try and act so cool. He wouldn't have done shit, and from that whole response it is clear you are fulfilling a vendetta against him. Who cares if he bitches about you and the way you do shit, it usually has so substance anyway, so it goes on deaf ears.

Its just a dumb situation, and he simply should not have gotten a perma-ban. Maybe a month ban, but perma-bans are usually only for members that register, spam for another forum, etc. They should not be for long standing members that have thousands of posts in contribution (or lack there of in some eyes).

I want him here, and I'm sure there are a few others that don't mind him too. That might not be a lot, but either is our active member list, so that's a inconclusive arguement. If you haven't noticed, Raziel isn't all that active lately, even I have more activity than he does.

Oh, and if banning him didn't hurt Zelaron, it certainly didn't help it. He was always a positive contributor in the Sports Forum, and at least he tried to post news and gaming updates (who cares if it was c/p'd, at least he cared enough to try).

The POLL I made in the staff forum got a 100% towards BAN vote. Shut up titus. It wasn't only I. Guess the whole staff MUST have a vendetta gainst him! We were all out to get to get him from the start!

Titus, I understand what you're saying. I believe similar to you -- plotting something is not concrete, and therefore should not be bases for punishment. I also agree that D3V has provided some productive activity to the forums. He had his period of being an absolute moron, and then seemed to become more involved in the up-keep of the forums and trying to make it somewhat enjoyable. I agree with you up to that point.

I do believe he should be banned, though. Even now, his behavior was erratic, and while he provided some useful articles and meaningful conversation, his negative comments canceled that out. It is by the rules that were set when you were still an admin that D3V has been banned. His fickle behavior was just too much to put up with. Whether Sovereign has some personal vandetta with D3V is a question you should ask Sovereign. It certainly does not seem that way in my eyes, in fact, it seems that D3V has held a grudge against Sovereign ever since he became a moderator. Now, I remember back when Sovereign became a sup-mod that many people said that he had not been around long enough to be a moderator, but he certainly has been now, and it's been 1-2 years since he became moderator. Isn't that enough time to drop this puerile grudge? It's obvious by D3V's comments made via IM and on the forums that he hates Sovereign for some unknown reason.

A quick search reveals D3V's obvious malice towards Sovereign. That first link I've posted above was undeserved and way out of line, and most certainly deserved a temp ban as far as I can understand the rules. The reason D3V was perm-banned was because of what WW posted above. With Grav and Mantra, many members liked them, and no one actually believed that they wanted to ruin the forums. The posts that D3V has made on his new accounts hint that he doesn't care for the well-being of this forum anymore, and has complete disregard for the rules here. He's not questioning authority, he's unjustly disregarding it altogether, and that simply can not and should not be tolerated.

Careful Sov, he may know where you live! Always check the nearby bushes and trees for a fat racist with a pair of binoculars staring into your windows before you go to sleep from now on.

Just a quick lil' shot at you, but how the fuck could you possibly add Mantra to that statement? Not want to ruin the Forums? He DDoS'd Zelaron a confirmed once and threatened it a few other times. He is not perma-banned anymore, yet a few crude threads, and the fact that people don't like him is enough for D3V?

I got banned for telling ex mania to fuck off, + pissing quikspy off. I dont think telling a sup mod to fuck off is against the rules but OH WELL.
