Metal Arms - Glitch In The System

Just wondering, have you ever thought that maybe some of those "story holes" were left out to be later elaborated in maybe a sequel? That's just what it sounds like to me. As for the review, it is pimp. I am now planning on buying the game. I love the robots blowing apart parts, and the sound effects are going to be really awesome to enjoy. As for the "hiccups" are they like 2 second hiccups or less, or are they like freeze-the-game-as-it-handles-all-the-details-for-2 hours type of glitches?

P.S. I know this isn't apart of the thread, but since I am here, I might as well ask. How do you beat the first boss in Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver? (it might not be the first, but hes the one that you pull the spears out of.) If it involves those spears, I kinda threw them somewhere and lost them. I have tried everything I could think of.
