Max Payne was cool because Bullet time was a good consept, and the execution was superb. It was really the first game with time altering a part of the accual game. And the story wasn't gay like most other games.

I played Max Payne for like 4 days before i beat it, it was a great experience, but (i hate to say) there really isn't a lot of replay value.

Super Mario Brothers I and Doom are classic games, it gets better every time, Max Payne was a mile stone, now we got dead to rights and blinkz, the new matrix game, stuff like that. but, hell - if ya'll want to call it a classic, i'd go for it. Consept titles don't get any better than Max Payne.

still, it was amazing at first because it was the first game that introduces the kool matrix like effect and damn i love just opening up doors, going in them with bullet time and making packi dits on every bad guy i can do it for hours...
