I expect the Eagles to be making quite a few moves prior to the draft, at least unloading 1 QB, if not 2 for some draft picks. I also expect them to package those picks with existing ones to either move up or trade for a player. Finally, don't be surprised if we snatch up Julius Peppers from the Free Agency.

What about McNugget? There have been rumors of him being traded before the combine, but they are probably just that. And Julius Peppers? Good luck with that, I would tend to think he's already peaked out, but I could be wrong, he is still a monster.

I was going to maybe say the Jaguars would be interested in him, but they just recently let go of Torry Holt and Tra Thomas so I guess the youth movement is stronger than ever. Which certainly will be addressed in this next year's draft, being their desperate need for any sort of pass-rush.

Well, here are the current ticket sales for the Jaguars this 2010 upcoming season:
http://jaguars.com/fuel/

We've still got a long way to go. As a proud supporter of the 3rd lowest ticketsales of any team last year, I feel it as my duty to inform the general public of what's going on. Somewhat of a fast start, and looks like it may have peaked slightly for a moment. I'm sure once the combine and draft come and go, ticket sales will once again spike up. Not only that, but now that tax season is upon us and returns are already being accepted, it could also play a role.

Wow, that's horrendous....

On a side note, the Eagles are playing your division in the AFC next year and Titusfied will essentially be playing both D3V and Thanatos... 1-1 split.

Hopefully by the time the Draft rolls around the sales will go up. You know there are thousands of 'Gator' fans that have pledged if the Jaguars draft Tebow they will fill the stands, but let's not forget they made the same statements when the Jags have drafted busts like Derrick Harvey and Reggie Nelson. We'll have to see, personally I hope they pass on Tebow and get somebody that will legitimately help this franchise win games.

Chargers just released L.T.

thoughts? I agree, I still would tend to think that he still has some good game play left in him, can catch the ball pretty well and could definitely help out a team like Philly if they were to get rid of Westbrook. We'll just have to wait and see.

Future for Julius Peppers and Darren Sharper?
BORKED

Two more guys that could easily come in and make a positive difference with whatever team they would join. I guess it all just comes down to who would want to pay that price for what he's going to get.

Wow, I thought I heard they were putting the franschise tag on Peppers, and now they're not? I guess he's not out of the question yet? I heard a rumor that the Eagles were also interested in possibly drafting Tebow? That would be the worst pick in our history...

See, I was thinking the same thing, but I guess it'll remain in the air for a few weeks to come.

More updates, Brian Westbrook will no longer be a Philadelphia Eagle

BORKED

Crazy. Guess the concussions and old age has caught up to him. I wonder where he will end up? It's gotta be somewhat sad they're letting him go, I can relate as the Jags cut Freddy last season. It will probably be for the better, though.

And the Eagles drafting Tebow? That'd be a bit of a stretch, then again I think Tebow on almost any team could become a stretch. He's not going to throw at the combine which isn't going to help him (or maybe it will) and from what we've all seen in the Senior Bowl, he may not even be ready to pick up and go right away.

Very sad day now that it's officially over with Westbrook. He was great while he was here, and literally carried our team to the success it had over the last decade. I will miss him greatly and hope he can still be effective and successful where ever he may land. Just as long as they don't play the Eagles, otherwise, we'll have to decapitate his ass.

I heard there is a Team X out there that is showing decent interest, but hasn't been made public yet. Philly talk radio has speculated that it's either Carolina or Jacksonville. Could spark some fan rejuvenation down there, huh? What do you think about the prospect of obtaining D-Mac?

Well personally, I don't think he'd come down here because Jacksonville is still going forward with the whole 'youth-movement'. They actually were in talks last season trying to get Kolb, but that never went through. I personally would think that it probably wouldn't happen, but then again who knows? I've heard anywhere from Carolina to even the Oakland Raiders, which would probably be more realistic. But if you guys lose Westbrook as well as McNabb, man. I'm not sure how, but I still think Philly could be a legitimate contender with the new guys, even some from McCoy taking the reigns.

But let's say he does come down here, just for fun. Well, we still have David Garrad for a few more years on his contract, middle-of-the-road type money (30-35 million left?). Would he be able to actually beat out David Garrard for the position? That's left up for debate, they are very similar quarterbacks. Very versatile outside of the pocket, can make the throws on the run, but McNabb has had much more postseason experience and a somewhat more productive career. I think the fans down here would love it, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Do you think it'll hurt Philly's chances next year?

Yes, flat out. I don't think we're going to be a contender next year, but if we make solid selections in the draft and shore up our defense over this year and the next offseason, we could be very dangerous that following season (as long as there isn't a hold out)...

Wow, didn't see that coming. What will this mean for the 'Skins? Who knows.. they've been trying to sign big names for a little bit, maybe they should stop drafting so horribly. The draft is right around the corner now!

Weird trade, but I'm just glad it's all over with and I as a fan can move on and hope this youth movement works out.. We ahve too much talents on offense to squander it with this shitty defense we're building....

I personally am excited about this. It's going to raise Jaguars stock in the 10th pick, so that when they trade down for more picks we'll have more chances at that home-run. Unless CJ Spiller falls or even Jimmy Clausen, then there may be a pick at 10, if not, who knows.

How many picks did you guys gain from getting rid of Donovan? I'm a pretty big McNabb fan and think he's underapreciated, but I guess we'll just have to see next season what happens. Kolb isn't too bad either, you guys will probably do pretty well, but it's probably safe not being too hopeful.

Couple updates. Brandon Marshall has been traded to the Dolphins for a 2nd round pick this season, and a 2nd round pick in 2011.

Roethlisberger's charges against him have been dropped. The 20 year old girl's case did not provide sufficient evidence, so this will all be swept under the rug.

The draft is now 8 days away!

http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=090...s&confirm=true

And the NFL schedule should be coming out by the end of this week!

I honestly feel sorry for you, D3V. It must suck to have home games blacked out in your area. I experienced it when I was a kid living in Arizona back in the early 90's, but I cannot fathom missing a Colts game due to lack of interest by home fans.

There's like a 5 year waiting list for season tickets here
