"Which characters will be in Diablo III?

Players will create a male or female hero from one of five distinct classes, such as barbarian, witch doctor, or wizard, each equipped with an array of spells and abilities. New customization options will provide for an even greater level of character specialization than the previous Diablo games, allowing the player to create unique characters brimming with power."

That was quoted from the FAQ. Just a discussion.
They say you can create a "male or female" from one of five classes. So now it is possible to have female barbarians.. (and I sooooo hope for a knight/paladin class!)

I hope they will also have several models for each classes.. or at least the option to select from different skin/hair colour, or height/size of the character.

Then while I don't think they will have too many different models for armors (probably just the usual: bare, light, medium and heavy), I do hope there will be different colour variation, or taking the dye idea from Guilds War.

That combines with the runed skills.. then we will truely have the chance to create "unique characters brimming with power." Unlikethe past where people have to sacrifice looks and styles for power.

They will for sure. There is a much higher sense of individualism whenever you can incorporate your own character design into what you're going to be using for x amount of hours while playing the game nonstop. It makes it more personalized for sure.

We honestly still aren't going to know much more until Blizzard decides to put out more information. They always give a teaser to get people talking about nothing, and then usually release shit people would've expected all along, and then add a ton of shiz to the mixture making people excited for the game itself.

I'm hoping I can just make the first character called 'Jesus' and have a witch doctor with a huge brown beard and some hippie locks and walk around turning water into wine 'n whatnot.
