Ah, the next Sandler film. I've yet to see the Zohan one (which I heard was pretty good) so I don't know how good Sandler's form is these days, but I respectfully disagree with your opinion. If anything is going to be the best film, it'll be one that blows your mind with a single trailer, let alone two:

BORKED

Fuck. Yeah.

Yes! Watchmen does look very interesting. I seen the previews in the theaters last night and it looked promising. As for Funny People, i'm a big Judd Apatow fan, as well as Sandlers. Both, along with the entire cast from the movie look like they can put together a comical clusterfuck of hilarious genius.

Another gotta-be damn good movie for '09. I still have not seen Seven Pounds, being broke puts a hampering on being able to see some movies. Is it tax-return time yet?

Same here dude. I caught a biography of him on BET late at night a couple of days ago. They showed a lot of raw, uncensored footage of him back when he was in NY just making a name for himself. It was a pretty damn good documentary... made me want to see the movie even more.

Well... is it any good?

I've not heard anything about it, so I'm wondering if your prediction could possibly be accurate.

EDIT: That'll be why - not out over here until Friday!

Funny People was decent... but it's basically 2 movies (the 2nd of which isn't so great) and way too long.

I wouldn't recommend Funny People at all, especially if you're expecting to see a funny movie. Somewhat ironic since funny is in the title, but the movie has an oddly serious tone to it - although granted it does have a few funny parts. It's way too long as already mentioned, it seemed to drag out forever. My girlfriend fell asleep during the movie... it sorta seemed like an Andy Kaufman thing, if that makes any sense to anyone.

The Hangover, on the other hand, I thought was ridiculously funny, and definitely lived up to, and exceeded the hype. Most the other people I went and saw it with said it was just so-so on the scale of comedy, but I'd say it's the funniest movie I've seen in the past few years at least.

Agreed. The Hangover is comedy gold.

My cheeks hurt from laughing so hard.

I second this, i'm sorry for my prediction being a bomb.
