Bernie Garcia said a young man approached her at a gas station as she was buying fuel for her van and asked for money. When she told him she had spent all her spare change on gas, he tried to grab her purse. "But I had it wrapped around my wrist twice," Garcia said, and he was unable to pull it away.

She could have got herself killed...

Seriously, she should have had a gun so she could have defended herself.

Speaking of stubborn women, there as an article on cnn about a woman who sat on her boyfriends toilet seat and refused to move for 2 years.

That is not what I said, but let us say I did. This is only heard about because it is an anomaly, it is not every day that thugs fail to rob elderly people. Any other day she would have either just had the purse taken, or got her ass beat and had her purse taken. We just would not hear about it.

I never said anyone should have a gun. I said that responsible people that want to own and or carry a gun should be allowed to.

Do you see the difference?

Everyone should have guns IMO. There would never have been a shooting at columbine if all of the students and teachers were armed.
