Battle Char size help

I was curious, Is there a way to make bigger battle charas in rpgm2k3?
I know that you can make some neat little guys, but when I make someone
with let's say, a samurai sword, then draw the 3 action sequence pics(like a sword slash done by battle chara),it barely,if at all, fits.I would like to make a bigger battle chara that can have REALY neat looking moves. How can you do this?

Well, I'm used to rmxp spriting, but I'm pretty sure they work the same way. In RM2k3 the sprite sheet is 4x3, and is somewhat confusing. Basically, what you need to do is just resize the sheet. RM2k3 divides the sheet into 1/12 of the original size, and in each of those 12 it makes boxes you need to put your chars. basically, just enlarge a blank image to be big enough to fit 12 frames, make sure that the dimensions are right, put in your sprites, and see if it lines up correctly by playing them in your game.

Unfortunately you can't resize the sheet in RM2K3. However you could have a battle event that hides the real battle character by inflicting a status effect that doesn't do anything and has a blank character graphic, then have a battle animation to show the character doing whatever, finally remove the status effect to make the real battle character reappear. At least that's how I did it.

Wouldn't it work if, lets say, you made a common event triggered by the key d(or whatever) to erase the character graphic and replace the char with battle animation? Just place the frames into the battle animation for swinging a long sword and viola... although you might have your character disappear for a millisecond though....
