Nintendo Revolution

I am suprised there has been no talk about Nintendo's new system!

Rumours have been flying that the Revolution gives the option to download any game pre-Gamecube. Also, the rumour is that the controller will have no buttons, only sensors.

Im not as sure for the realness of that one, but Nintendo is yet to reveal their controller, worried that Microsoft or Sony might steal their idea and adapt it for themselves (Rumble feature, anyone?).

Anyways, tell what you think. I personally am quite pumped for it, and I can't wait until more specs get out.

Rgr. I'm getting a Revolution. The main thing I'm waiting to her a confirm or deny on is the availability of some/lots/all games for what particular consoles and their cost. I read somewhere that somebody at Nintendo said they were going to try to make them free to download, but he also implied that there were only going to be hit titles for download.

If they offer all games cheap or free, I'd pay $600 for a Rev. If not, I'll just sink some more money into my server pc and buy some wireless usb controllers to use on my... console games that I can play on my pc... that I own the cartridges and discs... and backed them up for personal reasons.

Twilight Princess almost looks like a good enough title to make me want one of those. Too bad I'm a Halo addict.

Twilight princess is a gamecube title.

The games that will be offered for download, will most likely not be free.

I read somewhere that Nintendo is going to reveal everything about the revolution at the Tokyo gameshow 2005 on September 16th. That's about 2 weeks from now. yay!

Is it really? My bad, I heard otherwise. It would make more sense to me to hold off on it though.
