Nuclear War Strategy

Now, if a nuclear war were to happen, which would obviously be disastrous, how would a nation go about waging such a war? I know none of us are military strategists, but what would you do were you in charge of the U.S. armed forces, and we were forced to go to a war where Nuclear missiles were launched, and potentially more could be launched?

If we go to war with another country and multiple nukes are involved, it doesn't matter what the strategy is. If they're not completely incompetent, they'll fire back at us, and we'll all be SoL.

Blow up all the powerplants and then major factories and bases.

Nuclear war=Mutually Assured Destruction.

I'd say that we can only hope that the starwars programs of the eighties actually yeilded fruits that have simply been hidden from public knowledge.

Take out the nuclear missles while they are still in the air, would be the first concern. Hope we can dectect them by now at this age of time. Then if an agreement can't be arrange in the time being, just give them all we got.

I may not be American, but what you should do is go straight for France first. They have nuclear power stations situated in key places throughout France. Nuke 'em and you've got a walking, talking, arrogant population of radioactive scum.

But then we'd get the drift thingy of all the radioactivity...which cannot be good.

Either France or somewhere in the Gulf and/or Balkans. Could never stand the Balkan countries. Always vote for each other in Eurovision and never for anyone else how ever good they may be.

This is really wierd because I had this weird fucking dream last night in which nukes were being launched while my family was on vacation. We only had one small truck, and we were outside of the blast radius. However, the fallout was coming, and a huge tidal wave or something like that. We were driving away at like 100 mph and trying to get away as fast as possible. Somehow it caused the spawn of a hurricane/tornado and it was right behind us and were driving away as fast as we could to save our lives. I had to give up my seat in the truck for two children (my brother and someone we picked up on our little adventure away from the destruction), and I had to nail myself to the truck bed, in my feet and wrists, so I wouldn't be sucked up as easily or knocked out of the truck bed.

dude right now the us couldnt handle a nother war because all dumb ass george bush is concentrating on is iraq and oil george bush just wouldnt know what to do if there was a major war
