Windy Druid problem
Reply

I got handed my first loss with my V/t today...granted I haven't been fighting anyone actually good though just fooling around moreso (i suspect I'd lose a lot if I fought people with more skill ). It was kind of cheesy ...a wind druid spamming crap at the gateway while I was fighting some javalin zon and I got lazy/wasn't paying attention. I suppose technically it isnt a loss as I wasnt dueling the idiot really (I did beat the zon though before he hit me from behind). Anyways I did notice though that my life was going down relatively quickly from his hurricane/tornados compared to anything else and I was wondering if anyone had any tactics to share with beating one of these with a V/t. This guy wasn't that skilled I suspect and logged out when I asked him to come for a one on one but I do think if he had any skill it might have been trouble. Any advice on these guys?

Druids are always whores. As with hammerdin, their faggot nado's do a lot of dmg. If they are using lidless, foh their fag sage, name lock them and charge. If they are max block it becomes a LOT harder. Chances are they have summons to shield them after the y tele (which mind you is GAY!). Foh the sage as usual, then charge, but instead of going pure charge as you would vs lidless asses, you need to quickly change to smite and start hitting. Damage reduction works as well. Druids are horribly gay to duel as all they have ot really do is sit and spam. Moving aroun dis optional. The v/t has no other way of dmging the druid other then hand to hand combat anyway. It's really more luck now then anything. Oh, and how rich the druid is. If they have a lot of fhr your fucked. Smite wont stun them. IF they dont have good fhr, you can still win.

Whatever you do, GET RID OF THE SAGE>

Sounds like what I was thinking I just wasnt sure if I should just try to range them with an FoH like I can with a hammerdin and make them move (as when they move they arents spamming and thus I have an opening). I never really thought about windy druids before as my bone necro could always outrange them and spam better and more accurately than they could....little different now with a V/t...as even when they move they still have the hurricane...Im almost considering making a windy pvp just to see how people can beat me (besides out ranging me) and thus learn from it to reverse the plays.

EDIT: Probably should invest in a shaftstop for these guys in the meantime. I dont think Im hitting 50% DR...I'd need to check.

Im still missing ber runes...Its my one weakness and the only thing he's missing. My gear is almost perfect and I have a 3os Archon with a 524 def sitting on a mule but Ive been building too many things at once and my high end stuff is getting spread too thin. I figure I should have it soonish though. But until then....At the moment Im just getting by with a lame Duress in a sup Dusk Shroud I had lying around for the OW mod and FHR...
