Mage Talents

I have decided on mage! They are very fun and powerful at the same time... A question though, i'm level 13 and still haven't used any of my talent points, just wondering which branch you guys would suggest and such

I don't know, you're too spread out. Once you pick a main class of spells, it will be easier to decide what talents to get. Being a lesser pyromaniac myself...

If you plan on PvPing, there are certain things you want to go for (like Improved Counterspell)

Most PvP builds are mostly Fire and some Arcane, I'll look them up later when I have time.

You can ice spells if you want, in fact you have to, like frost armor and frost nova. Talents don't make your other spells obsolete, they just enhance some of them.

I went with ice, there was a raiding party of level 18-25's attacking sepulcher yesterday, I killed a level 19 dwarf with my ice bolt.

I'm just thinking of going down the fire/arcane tree like every other cookie cutter is going...

Well you should, because it's the most effective.
