Things you should be watching/reading.

All are >= hilarious (and online... I've pushed my views of books before *go Dragonlance!*)

1. Red vs Blue: http://www.redvsblue.com/home.php
Movies of Halo-based characters and their daily lives in Blood Gulch.
Available for download as well as for purchase on DVD.
Updated... every 2 weeks?

2. 8-Bit Theater: http://www.nuklearpower.com/
Comics loosely based on the original Final Fantasy. Comics are available for viewing in archive as well as for download in groups via PDF somewhere...
Updated every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

3. Strongbad Email: http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail.html
Strongbad reads his email. You should probably check out the site first before you get into it, because it'll be more funny if you know the characters (http://www.homestarrunner.com/characters2.html). There's plenty of other things on the site, but the real laughs are in the email.
Updated... weekly?

ADD THESE THINGS TO YOUR FAVORITES AND WATCH/READ THEM. I COMMAND IT.

I keep up with 8-bit theater, and watch Red vs Blue in large chunks, but I've never been a huge fan of Strongbad Email. Unfortunately, 8-bit theater has been missing a lot of updates recently.

Ya... Hurricanes and relocation kept the author from some updates. It's going to work itself out soon anyhow.

Also, I've been slacking on my Strongbad recently.

I've never been able to run RvB on these work comps, and I never really found Strongbad all that funny.

8-Bit is genius, however. Sword-Chucks, yo!

Ya.... Strongbad is losing it's appeal too I think.

You should download divx and get RvB working. That's the only problem I can think it might be. Did you try the Quicktime versions of the files?

Work comps, bro. Can't get away with installing anything. Don't have Quicktime either. Just RealPlayer and WMP. I've seen the first season of the show, though, and it is pretty damned funny.

I'm a big fan of Red vs Blue, I watch Strongbad emails in huge chunks and I'm going to have to check out 8 bit theatre.

8-Bit Theater is the best of the group in my opinion.

Red Mage:... then I cast Ice 9
Theif: Isn't Ice 9 powerful enough to freeze the whole world?
Red Mage: That's why we put her in the bag of holding first

Honestly, I have never found Penny Arcade funny. They have great commentary. Their message is spot-on, it's just not very humorous.

Another must-have for videogame nerds: www.vgcats.com

Well anyone who finds www.homestarrunner.com funny finds PA funny. Same kind of humor. If you don't like one, then don't read the other.
