Some time ago at my school, we were given a test in PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Community Education - a totally worthless subject, and don't ask where the C went, I don't know). At the top of the paper were the words:
Read through the paper.
So, we started to read through, and do the questions.
Q 1. What is your name?
Q 2. When is you D.O.B?
and so on, then:
Q 7. Run around the room backwards 3 times.
and
Q 15. Stand up and shout BANANA!
and shit like that. Now, we were working through the paper, doing everything it said, whilst the real nerds and geeks in the class had read through the paper, seen the last comment:
Now go back to the start of the paper, answer the first question, and wait for your teacher to tell you what to do.
And didn't we look idiots?
Actually, no. Only 5 out of the class (of 30) didn't start doing the questions etc.
There were 75 questions on the paper, the large majority of them stupid - e.g question 7, 15 etc.

Oh God, I hate those papers. They're supposed to teach you to follow directions, but in reality they teach you to be a complete idiot. The instruction that you "supposedly" get wrong is "Read all of the directions." And then the last one is like "Now that you've finished reading, stop the test." However, it clearly says to READ all of the directions, not FOLLOW them. I mean, if you actually did the last one while still in the "read them all" step, what keeps you from doing all of the other retarded steps? Really, the few people who get it "right" are actually the morons.
