oh man, its worth every penny! i got my parents into it so they always order it and i come and watch it.
titus, you should watch again, brazilian jiu jitsu has taken off. Royce and his brothers have ALOT of students, you always hear Gracie jiu jitsu mentioned.
its interesting i dont know when you last saw but back in the day people had styles listed Royce( brazilian jiu jitsu) Shamrock (shoot fighting) but now its all unified pretty much, mma (mixed martial arts) is all its called now, noone has specific styles anymore. everyfighter knows jiu jitsu now and most do some form of kickboxing as well, thats pretty much all you need to win a fight.
the level of skill has skyrocketed and fights are really intense nowadays.
most with a wrestling backround do well, they just have to go to the ground pretty quick because they get caught with alot of knees if they dont.
if you get a chance, rent some of the ufc's or pride (if they have them) i think blockbuster is going to be stocking some of the ultimate knockouts vol.1 + so you can see some good fights there.
favorite fighters now are Vitor Belfort (lost title last night to Randy Coutore) and Wanderlei Silva (dominating the 205 weightclass in japan right now, gotta watch tonights fight tomorrow cause i had work but my mom taped it for me) both brazilian

times of grace
