"Cannot load (file)" error

Okay when I want to test a battle it says cannot load file sword 1 . And when I try to test the game it says can't load dawn2. Can some1 help plz! Thank you

Ack, the title wasn't very descriptive, and you failed to use the proper icon for that (read the rules before posting, please). I fixed the title/icon for you, though.

Anyway, those errors simply mean that you don't have the files that it's asking for.

Dawn2 is a backdrop that should be located in the "Panorama" folder in your RTP section. Sword1 should be located in the "Battle" folder. Make sure that the files are PNG files, as well.

If they're not there, that's your problem - your RTP is messed up, or you deleted them accidentally. Either way, I would recommend downloading the RTP again (get it from the "Download Sites" thread).

If they ARE there, it's possible that the files are pointing to your project folder instead of the RTP folder - in that case, grab those two files from the RTP folder and put it in your project folder to fix the issue.

If there's STILL a problem, post here again.

If it's absolutely necessary (i.e. you don't feel like redownloading the RTP) you can make a copy of Sword2 and rename it to Sword1. It'll look pretty much the same. Either that or Whip2, if you prefer that.
