Reply
Posted 2004-04-18, 09:50 AM
Wow, I just saw it last night, and I loved it. Not as much action, but thats fine with me.

My ratings:

Kill Bill Vol I - 8/10
Kill Bill Vol II- 8/10

Did anyone else here see it? And what did you think of it?

I thought it was fucking incredible. The most stylistic movie I've seen by far and best presentation of any movie ever. I thought the whole thing was absolute genius. Best Tarantino flick yet except story wise (that honor goes to Pulp Fiction).

10/10 in my book... plus I think of the two movies as one.

I've yet to see either of the two and I'm nearly drooling to see them.

Well, the two movies actually were supposed to be one. It was just too long, so they broke it up into two movies. You probably knew that already though.

Its funny though, because I was just in the shower, thinking to myself, man, I gotta see Kill Bill Vol. 2 today. I have to.

And now, I will. Results will be posted later.

Goddamn, those are the two best movies I've seen in a long while. They're fucking genius, and I loved everything about them.

Volume II was a lot slower, but I liked it like that. It let you catch up to everything that went by so fast in the first volume.

Wow, from the previews Kill Bill looked like one of those girl power movies with no plot. Maybe I will rent Kill Bill and see Vol. 2 in theaters.

Definitely not a girl power type of movie. Its more of a "I'm a bad ass mother fucking beotch" type of movie. Watch it, you gotta like it!

And there's quite a plot. Although it doesn't exactly have a surprise ending if you get my drift.

It's probably the most unique movie ever, in the fact that everything about is hilarious, super-fucking-cool, and deep at the same time. It's just an incredibly odd film.

Not to mention incredibly GOOD. And TOTALLY AWESOME. Plus the next Taratino film looks fucking amazing (although he didn't have anything to do with its production, he paid a lot of money for it to be brought to the US).

Its gonna be out here in a couple of days and I'm definetly gonna see that. The first 1 was ridiculous (the fight witht the bride against 100 men) 1 machine gun and it would've been alot easier lol :P but anyway it was a good movie. 1 question: do you get to know the name of ''the bride''?

to raziel:yeah hero is a very good movie, I've seen it a while back and in terms of choreografy(sp?) and fights its alot like crouching tiger hidden dragon which is a good thing IMO

Wtf, you didn't get Hero yet? The movie kicks total ass. It's by far one of the fanciest movies I can think of.

You learn the name which Bill calls her. Not much more. I'll say it here:

Well I figured out the name from reading lips in Kill Bill 1.

Also I hear the ending to Hero is really shitty, but I'm downloading it at the moment.
