Smile I Wanna Learn

Hi, I want to learn XHTML, DHTML, Java, and anything that would help me to learn how to make really good websites and learn how to make games. Does anyone know of anything that could help me out. I really don't want any WYSIWYG programs though please. Thanks.

Does your school offer any programs?

If you're interested in learning how to make games, I would suggest learning C++. For websites, I would suggest learning HTML, XML, or a simmilar language. Java can prove useful for applets. Also, from what I hear, VB script is good to know.

My school has a few programs that touch into html and Java. They also go into CSS. They also have a class where you maintain the school website but its only offered to juniors and seniors.

I have a book to learn C++ but it requires a small knowledge of it and no library near me has anything like that(way behind times) does anyone know of any books or websites that would be good

There's a book by Herbert Schildt called "Teach yourself C" (I think that's what it's called) which is really good. It doesn't teach C++, but after learning C it is very easy to move on to C++. If you need any help feel free to PM me.
