Super Mario World or Super Mario 64
Reply

Both were the turning point in the Mario series. Mario World added several new features and made the game alot better. Whereas Mario 64 managed to make Mario a success in 3D. Which do you think was more revolutionary and more enjoyable?

Thread 1/5.

I think that mario world was more enjoyable, but mario 64 was more revolutionary. It was teh first time that mario was in 3d i believe.

I never played a lot of Mario 64, but I remember the controls being a bit clunkier than World. I just had more fun with World.

I'd say it's a toss up.. I really enjoyed M64 but SMW is a classic.

MORE CRAPPY ASS THREADS!!!

Both are badass, and I'm not sure I could pick one over the other. M64 had some really kickass levels (Both of the snow levels were awesome, Tall Tall Mountain kicked ass, Bob-Omb Battlefield was fantastic) but SMW had the Koopalings, and I sorely miss the presence of those little fuckers.

Although, they did make a cameo in a rather recent Mario game...

Would that game be Sunshine? Anyways I like Super Mario World more. Man, it's just so much fun to wake up on Saturday and go and beat it again.

No, it was in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga on the Gameboy Advance. Best GBA game of last year, no contest.
