barb masteries?

i am making a barb and i have found 2 sets of gimmershred or something like that the throwing axes that have good elemental damage on them

anyway i was wondering if i put points in to axe mastery and throwing mastery if i will get bonuses from both or just bonuses from axe mastery when i use double swing and just bonus from throwing when i use double throw?

When you throw, you get bonus from Throw mastery.
When you melee, you get bonus from Axe mastery.
