My love for life expired the day I was born.

There's no one there, nobody loves you anymore.
The only faith you have is in it's final hours.
All that you had left to love has passed on from this world.
You don't deserve happiness, you don't deserve eternal rest.

I shudder inside.
Strain my mind.
Finding a reason. Why should I let you die?
Your eternity is written.
Your fate pre-ordained, you see.
You will suffer into infinity.

Raze my mind.
Decimate my history.
Erase this existence as though it never was.
I am brutal.
Accidental, a mistake elemental.
Extinguish a flame gone awry with boundless rage.

Rampaging, infecting, ultimately defecting.
I've run amok spreading hate, spilling pain.
A mutation, obsession, living oblivion.
I am everything, yet nothing: meaningless.

I must die.
My sacrifice will not be meaningless.
I've become a cancer.
Eating away at the face of life.
A heretic, abusing this life. Take it away from me.

I'm going into the studio this Saturday to do the vocal tracks for about five or six of the new songs. By friday, my band will have one more song written, making a total of ten for this next CD. There should be mp3s available within the next month, and the CD itself should be available by the end of February.

Why didn't you name the song Legato?

Like I said, it's a working title. I'm gonna ask my band which title they prefer ("Bluesummers" or "Legato") and we'll just take it from there. I prefer "Bluesummers" becuase the song is a bit slower, and it seems to fit the mood a bit more.

Actually, I was razzing your jib. Naming that song Legato would be retarded.
