best merc for...?

Anyone know the best merc for a Hammerdin? I am thinking A2 might or holy freeze but still not sure. I play hardcore so i need to make sure i am keeping myself alive.

Might won't enhance BHammer damage, so I'd go with either a Tank(Barb) or NM Def/Hell Def Pally merc. Either Holy Freeze, or get even more Defense to where monsters can't touch you with melee.

Might want someone that can make you stronger magic-wise. Holy Freeze is very good too because it makes you opponent slower to run away from your hammers.

Go holy freeze , slowed monster get hit more often wif hammers=)

If you plan on doing Baal run a barb merc would be best as they regen fast and last longer. It would make the killing easy.
