Post Favorite Metal/Power Rock Bands of Old and New

The only bands I don't particualry care for are the ones that always scream their lyrics and the ones that sing about lovey-dovey stuff. If they have one or two songs like that, I don't care.

I think Van Halen was the shit of old and Saliva is one of the leading new ones. Though I preferred Back Into Your System to the other one.

Raziel, I know you'll probably find your way to this thread, so I have to ask you something. How do you sing in your band? Scream? Low, methodic and sinister? A mixture of the two depending on the song?

I like Black Sabbeth. Even after all these years, ironman is one of my favorite songs.

I use a lot of different vocal styles. I use low death-metal screams, high screams, old-school falsetto, "crooning." I try to implement as many different styles of vocal technique into my singing as possible.
