When i downloaded L2 i found a virus with norton and deleted it.. its name is win32 and attackes your system files through the internet so you have to shutdown every 5 minutes.. dell is calling it a wormhole virus. My friend didnt have norton on when he downloaded L2 so the virus wrecked his computer... he had to reformat and has to call norton now for a permanent solution to the virus. If you are dling L2 make sure you leave norton on.
well.. it came up in my norton while i was dling L2.. and i deleted it. My friend didnt have norton on while he dled and it wrecked his comp.. he got right after he dled and it was the same file as i deleted after my dled... wow weird connection..
yes i most definetly agree 110% with you. i am almost sure this thing is carrying a virus. After i installed it SWG stopped working. i would get errors everytime i open it. someone suggested running a virus scan and i did. i found 660 fucking viruses. cleaned all of them and tryed swg again. it worked. I have uninstalled lineage 2 now and deleted the install file. Maybe this is some crazy korean trick... Conspiracy forum anyone?
Twenty-eight days... six hours... forty-two minutes... twelve seconds. That, is when the world will end.
0mg, its those koreans fighting back for pking them!!!! Actually, yesterday, it was wierd... because VM d/led trillian pro 1.0 and then sent me the file since I couldn't find it on kazaa and once the file was sent norton popped up with win32 alert thingy. VM says he's got norton 2003 but didnt get any warnings... so either, his virus definitions arent current or he's trying h4x me!
when i ran lineage 2 i would gte this vius warning, in korean words, i just ckliked dont run virus...it had soemthign to do with that anti-hack program that comed with l2

You had that file before installing Lineage, I did too. It can't be too terrible if I've had it for over 3 years with no problems.
Well, nProtect does quite a lot of things to prevent hacking of the software, so your virus scanners respond to its activity as some of the things it's blocking are normally accessed by various viruses and abused by exploiters.
