I just got this and it is L337. It allows you to plat Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy games on the GameCube. It is a one-inch thick attachment to the bottom of the system (it actually makes the system more like a cube ). The resolution looks great on full screen. the GBP has options like 20 borders, normal and full screen, button confuguration and more. At a MSRP of $49.99 (free with purchase of new GameCube) it is cheaper than a new GBA SP. if you play your GBA a lot at home, then the GBP would be a great investment.
I've been considering picking this up. How is the picture resolution on a larger screen, though? I know a few games in particular (Golden Sun namely) that are slightly pixellated. Does the usage of a bigger screen improve the grainy-ness of these games, or is it more pronounced because of it?
As long as you dont set the picture to full screen mode, it looks fine. Although I havent tried an original game boy game (i heared that the resolution sucked). Anyways, the GBP got GREAT reviews from EGM, and is definitly worth getting.
