From what I was told, HL1.6 will be using HL2 engine? Just a rumor

Maybe CS 1.6 will be out 100% after HL2 comes out so they will use the hl2 engine on it AND hl1 on the other version of CS? sounds like common knowledge but it makes sense so i had to post it :|

Im way more excited about HL2 itself. I downloaded the movie from E3, and those graphics make me feel like ive died and gone to graphics card heaven. Only a GeForce FX 5900 could get you something like that. And the hl2 engine on cs? That would be a little wierd to me, but i suppose i could handle it... and of course, kick some ass

jea, you definately heard wrong. The customers would murder valve if they didnt have multiplayer support. There was recently a rumor that valve would charge money for multiplayer, but thats not true. If it was, then i would pay a little visit to valve, and have a little fun...

HL2 engine on CS, weird? lol CS uses HL1 engine right now. So does every mod for HL. So if they make a new engine, why not use it?

You must all be retarded.... CS1.6 is NOT going to be in the Source engine considering it is already in beta phase they aren't going to make a major change like that... and if you haven't seen the HL2 E3 demonstration, then get your ass over to fileplanet and wait an hour and a half for it ( download time is 35min average with cable, the video is 23 minutes long ) it's most definately worth it...
