Post New to GameCube
Reply

I just bought the GameCube bundle (a good deal, btw: console, super mario sunshine[which sucks], controller, and memory card) and I was wondering what are some really liked games?

So, reply and tell me your favorite game and what genre it is. Thanks.

Get Metroid Prime immediately.

Animal Crossing is also very poular, but I still haven't picked it up.

Eternal Darkness is the 3rd game people rave about.

But definately Metroid. Not even up for debate really.

Actually, I read that post rabber. There weren't many games listed and I was trying to see what people who didn't reply in that thread liked.

SMS = Super Mario Sunshine = The r0x0rs of j00r b0x0rs!!

Metroid Prime, Super Smash Brothers Melee, Resident Evil, Eternal Darkness, Super Monkey Ball. I can think of more but Im too lazy to write them all out.

I played MOH:Frontline...it didnt really astound me. Though I did play it on the PS2 at my friend's house, it might be better on GC.

it wouldnt be better on youre GC except for the controls maybe
But its just a direct port so it shouldnt be better.
Anyways you should get this games:

Metriod prime
Timesplitters 2
Super smash brothers melee
Eternal Darkness
Animal crossings
Legend of zelda: The wind waker

that are about the best games for gamecube you can buy at the moment

Good luck

is Zelda out yet?

and no, metroid is NOT an fps, although everybody thinks it is. its the first person view unless you are in the morph ball, but it sure as hell is not an fps. you spend a lot of time doing puzzles and locating different items. you don't have quests to go get the most kill count of a certain monster or kill all the monsters in the best time, that would be stupid and non-metroidish.

I believe FPS means first person shooter, and most of the time it is in first-person.

Technically speaking its an FPA., given its traits from the rest of the metroid games.

Zelda release date - I heard it was like march or something.
