Yeah, that was part of the first ones, too; there were always monsters appearing from portals when you'd enter certain rooms.

****Contains Gameplay Spoiler****
Well i said id be back once i played it.
so here i am, the game runs perfitly fine on my system with med settings.

i dident buy the game, i downloaded it, (some ppl may think im lame for this) but oh well, here in Canada - the game costs 80$ with tax, 80$ i dont have so. i DL games, anyway....

Doom3 is scarry as %#&$ , like omg! had me jump and or screem a few times.
like when you enter the bathroom for the second time (after everything goes wrong) and the screen goes red and you see yourself all weard looking...

*crys* this game = too scarey, i can barely play it cues of the scare factor.

YOU FOOL.

You do NOT play doom 3 with the sounds off. Or with your lights on... or with your door open for that matter.

I've been playing it since August 1st, and have beat it on the two most difficult settings. The game is scary as shit. Even when you know that some monster is gonna come at you the second you open the door, you still jump back when it happens. I love it.

At 1280x1024 with High Settings, and 6.1 EAX Surround Sound, it looks fucking and sounds amazing.

But I still like Farcry better.

Wow you must be slow.... You can hear a lot of the guys coming, and screeching and whatnot..

All it takes is hitting the f key again to bring up your weapon. I've had no hard time with taht even when my comp lags it up.

Hahaha, the fucker runs. They just didn't test the game on a system crappy enough.

1.4 ghz = above minimum.
256 mb ram = below minimum (384 mb)
geforce 2 mx-400 (32 mb) = FAR below minimum, especially since it's a MX card (64 mb)

Well, I have to play with lowest settings, and two parts of the game lag like hell. Loading a new level takes 2-3 minutes, and opening a door takes roughly 5 seconds, but otherwise, it's playable.

Man this game is fucking awesome.

The part where you walk back into the bathroom after shit starts going down scared the FUCK out of me (as well as any number of times when the lights flicker out and 2+ monsters come after you). Awesome game.

well, i just came outa hell with the soul cube.
the game rarely scares me anymore. as its all the same thing now,
*Lights go out* monster spawn blah blah blah :-/
there is one anoying thing thou, when 3 monsters spawn in front and 1 spawn behind that you dont know of.

so let this be a warning, whenever somthing spawns in front of you,
turn around and look behinde you.

oh, and about them little monsters, the babby moth body things, look like little kids with moth bodies, by god, how twisted is that.

anyway break time from doom, need to rest my eyes :-P
