As long as there was some sound emanating from my tv's speakers, i woudlnt mind.

So your saying if its all peaceful music when you are going to finish your opponent in mortal kombat you wouldnt care at all.

Right, because there is alwayz the option to turn the music off. And besides, a game wher you kill people that has powerpuff girls music would be quite funny. And ont pull this crap on me "what if there is no options" there always will be. So for me, game music is NOT AT ALL a contributing factor.

Well the character design is also important. That is not the best thing that makes a game good in my opinion its usually the storyline that makes a game good.

Kuja is right on that, the type of music isn't so much the star of attraction, but the quality is when it comes to music.

yes,if the music is good it makes the game more fun to play because then you can hum the songs while you play.I hum the chocobo theme all the time.
