Final Fantasy on Gamecube?
Reply
Posted 2002-03-09, 02:58 PM
Confirmed March 8, Nintendo says that Final Fantasy and possibly other Square games will be developed for the Gamecube and Gameboy Advance! This is a direct result of Nintendo's Q Fund, which allows developers to borrow many straight from Nintendo. No word yet if the games will be ports of th FF series or brand new content just for Nintendo gamers. Square hasn't denied or confirmed this, but they will make an announcement soon.

Super Mario RPG is a disgrace. The thought that Square made both FF3 and SMRPG hurts me.

Actually, there's nothing wrong with SMRPB, it's just that a few places feel ripped directly from FF3 with happier music, and Mario, which ruins the old FF3 memories.

As long as someone makes a new FF game for Nintendo or PC, I'm happy.

If they make a Final Fantasy game exclusively for Gamecube only, I would be really happy. This would definitely help Nintendo in the long run....

taking the gamecube to a whole new level instead of releasing gta3 (to get them out of the kiddie arena)
they should release Sex O Rama 2002
