I've started a team deathmatch practice server so you can check that everything seems to work well.

Server address: 85.228.218.24

(Multiplayer > Open Location)

Remember, the official matches start tonight (Saturday, June 13) at 8 PM EST. The server address may be different by then, so remember to check this thread again.

Also, be sure to visit Options > Player Setup to change your name and player settings. This is also where you go to change teams (e.g. from Red to Blue) during team matches.

Okay, feel free to join the game server whenever you like. The official matches will start approximately 2 hours after this message was posted (at 8 PM EST).

Server address: 85.228.218.24

(Multiplayer > Open Location)

Make sure to set up your name properly in Options > Player Setup. That is also where you can change teams, should you be unhappy with yours.

Furthermore, press the t button in-game to write messages to other players.

Oh, and if you're afraid to join because you think your IP will be displayed to everyone in the game, they won't. Only the server administrator (me) will be able to see them.

Next date should be Tuesday, 16 - 8PM EST. I'm afraid I might not have caught this one in time.

If we can all agree on a server that doesn't lag too badly, sure.

How old? It runs fine on my semi-archaic laptop with a 128 MB ATi eXpress card. I figure that 64 MB should work okay, too, although it may not look remarkably pretty.

I should be able to host a UT2004 server on my server. I assume everyone has reasonable ping to here?
