new computer crapped out on me

Got to be up early tomorrow for a damned Big Band practice at 1pm... and then sit around doing nothing until 7:30pm which is when we play. Harumph.

Slept in too long, now I don't feel like taking a shower.

People in the room next to me got a new stereo and have been blaring it all day. Shit rattles my room.

I'll second that one. Too cold, if you ask me.

The lake froze over during the weekend, and it was still frozen today. It's still frozen now, even after a warm[er] day and a lot of rain. It's quite amusing to watch the ducks walking across what looks like a lake of water, when actually it's a very shallow layer of water over thick ice.
