Some Music and Background issues.

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been on. I had to wipe my computer due to viruses and RPG Maker has been hard for me to do ever since.

Every time I go to test play (where "new game", "load" and "end" are) the background where there is sopposed to be a picture is completly blue and the music doesn't play. Now, I'd usually be fine if it was just this but I've come to learn this this issue also makes it so the "Game over" screen does not come up and you will not return to the main menu after death (you return to the world map).

Now, I'm not sure if this is a common problem or if this is a new found bug, so if anybody has some suggestions or could point me in the direction of someone who could help me, that would be great.

To the left of the Test Play button are two buttons, one of which says Title, and another that is just a blue box. If the Title button is pressed, the background and music should be there when test played. If the blue square is pressed, the Test Play window will be maximized.

As for your other problem, am I right in understanding that when you die in a battle, instead of game over, it returns you to the world map? If so, there should be a page somewhere in the data base (don't know where - sorry) that has two options - game over after death or return to map (something like that). Click the appropriate option and it should fix itself.

Common Question: Have you tried to reinstall RM2k-3 or uninstall and install again?
