In 2020 this country is going to resemble Nazi Germany in the 30's and 40's. People are going to be so afraid of terrorists, illegals, etc. that some well-spoken, intellectual is going to prey upon their fear and turn this once great country into a police state.

Was it ever great? I question that.

Everything is relative - America was at times better than other countries. After the Federal Reserve Act, though, we hit rock bottom and are now chizzling away at the stone with our relience on fossil fuels (which cost signicantly more than they should and ARE priced in eastern countries) and disregard for the rights of people - which never really concerned the government in the first place.

Was it ever great? I question that.

The 60's and the dot com boom.

The 60s were great for white people. The dot com boom was great for white collar people. And then it sucked.

Well the the MLK movement started that time, along with rights movements. The dot com boom was good for our entire world.

Bahaha, are you serious? Remind me again what was great about lifetimes of indirect indentured servitude (Company Towns), terrible wages (which generally went back to the company), horrible working and living conditions, 16 hour days, no vacations to speak of, and widespread use of child labor?

And Grav has a point. That time was really a gilded age more than anything. The life offered looked good on the surface, but deep down it wasn't. Quite an unhappy life then.

Though in essence, an anti-Christ is a world or regional leader who misleads their people through cause or practice. Ancient Rome's, Future America's, and Nazi Germany's leaders qualify.
