PROJECT EGO omg looks like best game ever

Fable was a badass game.

Indeed. I always burn out on it and don't get incredibly far, but it's a great game.

Fable 2 looks quite interesting. Anyone seen the trailers and walkthrough videos?

I've heard Fable 2 is much, much better than Fable 1. A lot of people were disappointed with Fable 1.

Really? I've heard nothing but praise for Fable 1.

Fable 2 is one of those games that you'd buy just because there are new mechanics in it that you want to try out - for example, the single button combat, and how it's backed by drum beats to get you into the swing of things, pardon the pun.

Peter Molyneux has said there are three main features to Fable 2. So far, two have been shown:

- Love -- ie, your dog, creating a family, children etc.
- One button combat system

As far as I know, the third is still under wraps until Molyneux decides it's time to announce it. I reckon he'll wait until one of the big Gaming Conventions rolls around again - so it will probably be next year when we hear about it (possibly even as late as March at GDC).

What is the release date for Fable 2?
