Would I be right in guessing that this connection is an ethernet cable going to your PC? And the same cable is also used to connect up the 360?

If you've got two ethernet ports on your computer then you can bridge the connection and connect the 360 to the net via an ethernet cable between the 360 and the PC.

I've got it working with my PS3. And it shouldn't be that much different to get it to work with a 360.
I could do that Lenny, but then i wopuld be bridging and get banned from halo. So i dont

Lets see. How can i explain this? First off, halo 2 has some problems. When they are creating a game type for us to play, we are all transpoted to somebodies box. This person that "hosts" the game experiences near perfect conditions, whereas other players do not. For example, the host of a game does not expierence internet lag, so they can fire weapons farther than anybody else in the game. They can also be more accurate, making them a tougher opponent. By bridging, you are making yourself host by collecting all IP address, so not only are you host, but you can also kick people out of the game by purging thier system. The problem with bridging is that Microsoft/ Bungie can trace games back to certain boxes and see who and what happened during the game. Bridgers are usually caught and banned from live.

Now im no internet genius and the person that told me this could be totally wrong, but it does make perfect sense.

Well I'll be... never knew that. Methinks I'd best check the user agreements for the games I play online, then, just to make sure they don't ban for bridging.
