Skype. Chruser has all the messenger icons. He'd have a 2nd line for them, except that admins can't be ignored.

It's like Ventrillo with no servers. You pick someone's name, click connect, and it rings them up and you talk. Others can join.

That sounds pretty cool, I'm assuming it has a central server though, unless it sends the data to everyone in the 'chat' individually.

Skype is one of the reasons "net neutrality" is such a buzz word right now.

Basicly, net neutrality means that ISPs have to treat all internet traffic equally, as opposed to favoring certain traffic that generates them money.

Don't worry ...apparently ISPs have already been prioritizing bandwidth to some degree. I'm sure it'll get worse though if net neutrality dies.

That explains the slow pr0n downloads. :P

On a serious note, I imagine that a competitive marketplace would have a few advertised "Net Neutral" providers pop up for a nominal fee. I know I'd jump on that if I were in a provider's Marketing department.

HA! Tell that to my old ISP. Unlimited service my big toe! We used a maximum of 20gb a month and they stuck us on the high users bandwidth, and eventually asked us to leave. Bastards.
