Well, before we almost got hit on that one-way, a few middle-age ladies were yelling innuendos at us, and one tried to get into the truck while it was moving. That's when we decided to leave and next thing we know it a car is coming at us.
You think that's a lot of people being pulled over? Get to France during the peak of the Summer Holiday's and all you'll see is French Cops pulling over EVERY single car that's English. Every last one.
They actually wait on the road sides waiting for you. Even if you've done nothing wrong.
I'm sure I'll hear about some people, and read about it in the paper. One of my friends (age 16) was in his truck behind a cop, and the cop did a U-turn and flipped his lights on. He was going the speed limit and everything, but the cop came up and thought he had been drinking. He didn't get anything, and I'm wondering if the police were just being ambitious pulling random people over, along with the drunk ones.
It's always possible. If there's heavy drinking going on, then the cops will pull over anyone they think is being suspicious. Better to be safe than sorry.
