Halo 3 Announced Finally...

Im not feeling Halo3, what can they do but new weapons and w/e

Well, new weapons, monsters, and vehicles basically means a new game. Any other FPS will basically be the same type of deal, but instead of Master Cheif, you'll have someone else with different weapons, monsters, and vehicles. At least now we still have some of the old stuff that we have come to know and love, such as Elites!

its not that, but halo is a lot different than other FPS... but a new halo wont be that much different that the older ones. i mean, ill get it, ill love it, ill play it, but i dont think im going to be nearly as hyped about 3 as i was for 2 to come out

That's what some people are hoping for, nothing is confirmed at all.

The only things that are for certain are on Bungie's website, in the FAQ section.

That would be fucking awesome. System link and 4 person co-op would be my new best friend.

Indeed. Same gameplay with nicer graphics and that's all.

Why drastically changed something thats great already? Even if every part of the gameplay is the exact same as 2 I will still want the game because I want to find out how the story continues from 2.

Anyways im sure they will find alot of ways to improve the gameplay and add new shit, but basically it will be gameplay with shinnier graphics.

I am looking forward though!

Great? Halo is an excellent CONSOLE fps but plain mediocre by PC standards. It's going to take something revolutionary (and much more than dual wielding weapons which was done on PC back in 1994) from 3 to convince me otherwise and so far I see nothing new but prettier graphics.

Some people do like it that way, though.
