Preorder PWN. I'm preordering at least one. I doubt they'll sell on eBay like the Xbox did, since there'll be a good bit more at launch, but, depending on how big the demand looks, I may give it a shot.

I'd hazard a guess at them selling even better. By November, the PS3 will be so hyped up that even Grav will think about getting a console.

And if they don't sell as well, at least you've got one.

I really believe it's a struggling little ship. If people have that much money to waste on some shit like that then they really need to give it to me <3. I'll waste it on better shit.

A couple more pieces of news.

First off, the Worldwide Release really does mean WORLDWIDE. Sony have added territories such as most of Asia (not just Japan), and Australia to the list of places they release it as standard.

Also, the PS3 will be REGION FREE!

We can finally import games we want when they come out earlier in other countries, and hot have to worry about chipping the console.

At least they'll know then that the bugs are right across the spread, not just because some idiot dropped it in some water and swore at it in French.

It'll be years before the price drops. I'm pretty sure Sony are designing this to be a 10 year console, not just a five year console.

Talking about 10 year, the other day, Sony announced the end of their PS1 production. They need the space for PS3 production.
