Dark Elf gives a lot more backstory to one of the characters, which doesn't force you to take things at face value when a character's past is mentioned.
However, I also enjoyed the Dark Elf trilogy more.
Yea I was on the 2nd book in the Dark Elf when I wrote that post, its finish now, I really liked Sojourn the one where he is trying to survive on the surface. Now I am just waiting til xmas for my mom to send me the rest of Salvatores books.

Yeah, I read Stephen King's "It" in 7th grade. 1090 pages was kinda huge, longest book I ever read.
