This is because there's always a predefined sequence to solving it. All you have to do is get an initial glance and know the formula.

Yeah, that took a shitload of practice though, and just thinking about how much that guy had to remember in his head is making mine hurt. It definately isn't an easy trick.

No, they aren't all exactly the same I'm sure, that's why he looked at it for like 30 seconds before he started working on it, he was figuring in his head how to do it, then when he was blindfolded he was trying to imagine it probably. Definately takes good spatial (I think that's the right word) skills.

all rubix cubes are the same.. but some not size wise, but that still doesnt change it.. all have 96 squares with 16 of each colour on there.. and move in the same direction.. he was only positioning his fingers on certain colours so he remembers which way to turn what.. its like almost like using a keyboard without looking except 10000000 times harder.

Ya but do all the colors start out in the same place when they come from the factory? So do they all have the exact some completion sequence?

i hear somewhere, there is a predefined solution like it will say hold the white center square towards you, now rotate the right one down twice, something to that extent

Every time I try to do one, I give up after about 30 minutes, by which point I've usually got at least nothing done.

The person who invented rubix cubes had a very sick mind. He should be shot. If he's already dead then he should be dug up and shot.

Is it that 5x3x3 one? Really tall?

That's just crazy.

The guy who invented the Rubix cube and the guy who re-invented it should both be lined up and shot together.
