Getting a pistol

I thought long and hard about getting a surplus pistol, like the Makarov or the CZ52 but I decided I should make my first pistol a new one.

After careful deliberation I've decided upon the SA Mil-Spec 1911 .45

I find that a .45, especially the 1911, is the most comfortable to shoot and is still quite powerful without feeling intimidating to fire.

Go shoot something up with it and take pictures ^.^

I'll be taking it and my SKS to my familys farm in North Carolina when my buddy gets his H&K USP.45 out of layaway in about the middle of October, I'll have plenty of 'destruction photos' for your eyes.
