Hmm yeah but I wasnt geforce 2 somewhat highend back then? (I cant remember, because I didnt know much about computers back then). when I first played morrowind it was on a p3 800mhz, 196mb sdram and a 16mb tnt, lol...

It was allright until I walked out of the ship and tried moving around to get to the census office, I guess I was chugging along at about 5fps. hehe.

At the time Morrowind came out, the GF4ti4600 and Radeon 8500 were the highend cards, and you could play Morrowind at a playable (16FPS or higher avererage) framerate on minimal settings on a GF2 or GF4MX, as long as you didn't walk into a town. Since, in general, towns are safe places to be, I would assume it was overall playable.
