Best Rock/Metal Drummer

Now, I fully respect Neil Peart's skill, but he doesn't play what I like. I like fast, thrash beat with badass rhythm, not just pounding like a madman (Joey Jordison). Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Grip Inc.) delivers sweet beats at a tremendous rate.

So, Peart wins the best drummer ever all-around, but Lombardo is a close tie.

Here's a video of Lombardo.

Tomas Haake, of Meshuggah would be one of my highest ranked. He plays almost nothing but off-time jazz beats, and the timing he's capable of is just crazy. It's hard to even follow their music at first, until you listen to enough of it and figure out the pacing.

Raymond Herrera of Fear Factory and Charlie Benante of Anthrax would also be high on the list.
