I wasnt asking IF it was detectable. That is blatantly obvious. I'm wondering HOW detectable.

well if u put it that way or either im reading too fast, then its as dectectable as farcast is, since shooting off ur view of sight (being 1 screen, duh) and you send a illegal packet to shoot off 2 screens away then gfg if blizzard made a server side scan for such packets, cuz it aint possible to fire 2 screens away unless ur scrolling. So i would ask blizz about that and get a responce of "Phuck t3h jOO nOOblar AA'ers, HWAHAAHAHAHAHAA"

Not sure if AA is detectable, most likely it is.

But all bots are, ALL bots.

they have to be on ur screen since AA like clicks on them (sends the packet to directly attack them) if u dont want to send such a packet, but thats beside the point. the point is moreover the lines of "Did blizzard implement such and such?" so your asking a question when no one really knows but blizzard

All such questions have this response. To be honest, I don't think it's enough of a problem for Blizz to enable a distance vs. direct-attack check, but you never know.

lol.

D2BS even has a built in off-screen click detector, it's in there, I gaurantee it. I've never used AA, I assumed it just shot in the correct direction, but if it locks on it is EASILY detectable...

just don't know whether blizz is jotting down the records

actually, it is possible to fire more than 1 screen away, but i think u have to hold your mouse key on the char b4 they leave the screen, and it keeps on firing @ them.

Name lock is holding down the attack button on a character's name even after the move off screen.

AutoAim does pretty much the same thing, except you never had to have the target on-screen. Actually, I'm sure if you compared the packets that they're likely the same. Maybe I'll check into that later.

no..... doing a manual name lock forces you to stay in 1 position, AA lets u move around and fire off screen thus they arent the same

many people seem to think that AA is very detectable, but in my own experience, the same as botting.
