If you have a job 15 a month is nothing. If you dont have a job, then get a damn job. You will pay 5-7 bucks to go see a movie that lasts 2 hours (just an example, If it does not relate you, I am sure there is something like it that does), but you wont pay 15 dollars a month for like 50-100 hours or more of fun. I fail to see the logic in buying something stupid like going to see a movie or going out with friends and spending a bit too much or getting fast food when you know you have food at home for a VERY brief amount of pleasure but then screaming at them for making it 15 dollars a month? You know what would be crazy? (I dont care how run on this sentence is) If you had to pay for the amount of fun you had, or since that does not work well, pay per hour, lets say you go see a movie for 5 dollars and it lasts 2 hours thats 2.50 an hour. Now lets, for arguments sake, say you only had half as much fun an hour playing wow as you would watching a movie (it would probably be more for most of you but for arguments sake now) so thats 1.25 an hour to play WoW. So in a month if you paid 1.25 an hour and only played 25 hours (Most of you are a lot more hard core then that so increase as you see fit) it would cost you 31.25 for that month, not quite chump change. Gamers got it easy now, prices are insanely cheap for online games. I remember on old AOL I would pay like 1 dollar an hour to play some RPG years ago, bill racked up fast. I found a site called Gamestorm that had the game and they charged 10 or 15 dollars a month for unlimited play of the game, I was like WOW thats pretty amazing! Look at all the money I am saving! Problem is we are hooked on such a low price that increases, even when they are pretty fair from the amount of fun you get out of it, seem bad to us. <end rant>
